    @pongley & Zevvion
    Yeah, with each genre there is an expected set of length for it. Considering RPGs are incredibly slower paced games one would need to give the player some time to feel the game before completing it. 30hrs plus is standard for those.

    It's been a while since I've played a shooter other than Half-Life 2, but I find those games to be the shortest.

    With Action/Adventure games like this one I expect it to be a little shorter than a RPG, but not something like a shooter. All in all it depends on once you get to the end of the game you either feel satisfaction or a thirst for more and it changes from genre to genre and game to game.

    Feck me, imagine some saying today that a game of 10-15 hours is short. CoD fanboys would lose their minds.

    @cort12 people keep saying that, yet I haven't played many games this generations that are less than 12 hours long. Then again, I'm not really a gamer that plays allot of shooters. Maybe it's just limited to that genre?

    @Tyralyon: Well, personally I really disliked the review. I prefer by far the more simple and oriented reviews of gametrailers to the long and far too deep reviews of the story like this one. I've been on gamespot for years and I've known Jeff's reviews. I also known the giantbomb.com website that he made after quitting gamespot, but I think that his reviews are over rated by far! Anyway, I suppose that all of this is personnal in the end.

    10-15 hours is actually a little short for a single player only game. don't forget that COD and Halo have online multiplayer. btw the visual design is just incredible in this game.

    Ahhh the good old days, when 10-15 hrs was considered "short" now it['s surprising if a game takes more then 6-7 hrs to complete.

    Never played this but might pick up the soon-to-come HD version on 360. But this review reminded me how incredibly stupid CNET was for firing Jeff. Hands down the best reviewer GS has ever had.

    Very good puzzle/action game for people of all ages, with a very healthy and well-articulated undertone of civil disobedience and anger at the system.

    10-15 hours those were the good games that didn't rely so much on friggin multi-player God I miss story driven games like this.

    I wish Ubisoft cared about this game to patch it enough to be playable on pc.Have had it for pc for 5 years and it's still unplayable just as much as the day I bought it.

    It's testament to the quality of this game that people come back to the review, just to get a little taste of it, years after they finished the game itself. You can tell because everyone's being annoyed by adverts for different products they've pushed on Gamespot over the years. I'm being hassled to buy Panasonic's Viera TV! I'm not going to!

    I own the GC version of this and it's pretty cool. I'm considering downloading BG&E via GOG.com.
