That is great, another online mode, what about an offline mode using the MP maps and characters, like they used to have in the old games back on the PS2 and even on the PS1? back then they used VR maps but now we have proper maps but they are online only, they could have a mode called 'Eliminate All' where you can play as Snake or the other characters. i have played online a few times but it is not much fun, spawn run forward, get killed by better players, repeat. what i want is to play as snake against bots.

@ Omaciel I they would add trophies too but its probaly too late espicially with all the metal gear games that are coming out soon, but online is still fun.:)

Make no mistake, the franchise ends with MGS4. It's the best game of this console generation and one of the greatest games of all time. And that's not even an exaggeration! MGS4 brings together over 20 years of storytelling and brilliant gameplay. This is a game that shouldn't be missed by anyone - fan or not.

why there is only 2 metal gear solid in the ps2

I liked MGS:3, but what always annoyed the hell out of me was the fact that they tried to portray an American CIA agent....and yet they added in all the Anime references as to how he fought as well as the story line. Idk, it just bugged me... PS3 SUCKS! MICROSOFT FTW!

The next MGS game will either be a prequel I.E snake when he first joined FOXHOUND, or it will be a continuation through the series with Raiden. I very much doubt that old snake will be involved anymore with future games.
