On 1/27/09, Konami added a new, free mode to Metal Gear Online called Bomb Mission. In this mode, the offensive team attempts to detonate a bomb at a targeted location, while the defending team must protect its stronghold and prevent bombs from exploding.

    this was definitely the best of all the hero montages. Gordons and Marios were both really weak.

    Snake should have won. Don't get me wrong, Gordon Freeman is a great hero, but no real personality, Snake has emotions and you feel for him, Freeman just shoots aliens and military men.

    Argh... Can't believe he lost =( Solid/Old (also Naked) Snake should be greatest hero ever! He knows he's not a hero and people still call him a hero, now that's a hero! almost like John McClane in Die Hard.

    I'm sorta happy that Hideo Kojima didn't want anybody else to handle Snake's character other than himself. sad though that he's retiring Snake.

    Solid Snake is truly the greatest gaming hero.
    And MGS4 was the perfect ending to a franchise stretching over 20 years...

    Its just Snake in general. Not specifically Naked or Solid, but both are legends

    I did not appreciate what Kojima did to the series (i.e. concerning plot & dialog) after the first Metal Gear Solid but I still think Solid Snake's a great character by game standards. Too bad the guy got the shaft in several aspects at the end of MGS4. Poor Snake.

    Im putting all my voting power on Snake, he is the most impressive, bad ass, slick, professional, operative out there. Master of stealth, cqc, sniping, and is always looking forward to defeat the next impossible odd. Kratos comes close....
